How much is it to join the What We Read Next Bookclub?
You can pay either £10/month, £50 for 6 months or £100 for a year.
What does my membership include?
As a Bookclub Member,
1. You will have a seat at the virtual book club event every month with myself and the chosen author.
2. During the event you will have the chance to chat to the author during our Q&A. A recording of the event will be sent to you after.
3. Each month I will share 3 blog posts discussing the book.
4. You will also be able to chat to other Bookclub members in our secure blog space which you will need a password to log into.
What does my membership NOT include?
The bookclub membership doesn't include the book. You can purchase it separately via The Hastings Bookshop website.
When will I get my book?
If you are ordering the book through The Hastings Bookshop website, it will be dispatched to you as soon as your order has been made.

When does the virtual event take place?
The last Wednesday of every month at 8pm GMT via Zoom. The event will last for approx 1 hour. If the date or time changes you will be sent an email so please make sure you have subscribed to our mailing list for all news and updates.
When will I receive the link to the virtual event?
You will receive a link via email a few days in advance of the event. Please ensure you are subscribed to What We Read Next mailing list as you will not receive emails from us if you are not subscribed.
How far in advance will we find out about the author scheduled for the following month?
We will announce our new author at the end of each month. This should give you enough time to buy the book through The Hastings Bookshop and read it before the virtual event.
Is the Bookclub only open to people living in the UK?
Absolutely not! It's open to anyone living on this planet :). Be mindful if you are living outside of the UK that postage costs will be more and it may take a while to get to you, so make sure you order the book well in advance of the event.
What if I wanted to join for just 3 months?
You will need to make three separate payments.
What is the What We Read Next blog page?
The What We Read Next blog is where we share posts about the books we are reading each month plus where we'll also be sharing videos of the events too. It's also a secure space where we can talk about the books together as a community. You will need a password to log in. The password will be sent to you via email once you have signed up. Do also make sure you have subscribed to our mailing list.
What if I have paid but can't make the event?
If you can't make the online event, you will be able to watch a recording of the event which will be sent to all members at the end of the month.
